Doug Swanson has lived in the Columbia Gorge for 40 years. He originally moved to White Salmon in 1983 for his job as a State Trooper. Doug became a member of one of Spirit of Grace’s predecessor bodies (Our Redeemer Lutheran) when he first moved here. He has been a consistent presence throughout the transformation into a dual-denomination congregation.
