ICE is targeting our Latino neighbors in the Gorge. As a result, some kids are afraid to go to school. People are afraid to go to medical appointments, grocery shopping, work and more.
A group of community members is organizing to provide mutual aid and support for the Latino community. People will be able to ask for a ride to an appointment or to get food delivered. This work requires a part-time coordinator to take these requests and connect them with community volunteers who can deliver the food or give a person a ride.
